38th Annual UBRP Conference

The 38th Annual UBRP Conference will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2027 from 8:00am-12:00pm on the main University of Arizona campus at the Environment and Natural Resources 2 (ENR2) Building (1064 E. Lowell Street).  This event will include:

• Check-In (8:00am - 8:30am)
• Keynote Talk by Dr. Paul Hoover, MD, PhD, UBRP Alumnus and Rheumatologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital (8:30-9:30am)
• Two student poster sessions (9:30 - 10:30am and 10:30-11:30am)
• Awards and recognition (11:30am - 12:00pm).  

This event is free and open to all interested.  Visitors, please RSVP here, and additional information will be directly emailed to you in January; student presenters do not need to RSVP.

All students who participated in UBRP, Beckman Scholars, BRAVO!, EHS-RISE, NACP, and PHIRE, along with MARC and USIP, are expected to present a research poster at this event; abstracts will be due in December 2026.  Student presenters should check their email for information on abstract submissions and additional event information.
