UBRP Faculty
UBRP would not exist without research active faculty who are interested in mentoring undergraduate students in their groups. Current UBRP faculty mentors have appointments in the Colleges of Science, Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture & Life Sciences, Optical Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, and Nursing. Off campus mentors are employed at Barrow Neurological Institute, in Phoenix, and the USDA Arid Lands Research Center in Maricopa. Staff at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix have served as UBRP mentors as well. The program seeks to offer the broadest range of possible research experiences to undergraduates. Scientists interested in hosting UBRP students should review the Quick Guide for UBRP Faculty Mentors below and contact Jennifer Cubeta, UBRP Director, at cubeta@arizona.edu with their interest in becoming a mentor and/or questions.
