The 32nd Annual University of Arizona Undergraduate Biology Research Program Conference was held virtually on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Denice Warren Ross, Senior Fellow at the National Conference on Citizenship, Fellow at Georgetown University’s Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation, and UBRP alumna gave the keynote talk, entitled “Parrots, Policing, and the Pandemic: Tales of a Career at the Intersection of Science and Public Policy.” The Conference also included live poster presentations by 102 undergraduate researchers. Dr. John Streicher was awarded the 2020-21 Outstanding UBRP Faculty Mentor Award, and Matthew Schmit was awarded the 2020-21 Outstanding UBRP Graduate Student Mentor Award.
