When

8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Aug. 6, 2022

Join fellow UBRPers on a tour through Bisbee's Queen Mine on Saturday, august 6th, 2022! On this tour, we will ride into the underground mine after being outfitted with hard hats, head lamps, and yellow slickers to see where copper once used to be mined here in Arizona. We will get to learn the history behind the mine from former miners themselves and take a break from the summer heat as the mines are cool year round. After the tour, we will have some time to explore Bisbee and grab some food, unless you wish to bring your own lunch, either is fine! Wearing closed-toe shoes is a must and bringing water is never a bad idea. We will depart from the parking lot south of the AZ-SO dorm at 8 AM and depending on how much exploring we do, should return around 3:30 PM. UBRP will covers the cost of traveling to and from Bisbee as well as the tour, but anything extra you should bring money for! Please RSVP here by Friday, July 22.
