Join us for the 34th Annual Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) Conference on Saturday, January 21, 2023, to be held at the Environment and Natural Resources 2 Building on the University of Arizona's main campus in Tucson! 

  • 8:30 - 9:30am - Keynote Talk by Dr. Aanika Balaji, MD, MPH, UBRP/BRAVO! Alumna and Resident Physician at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
  • 9:30 - 11:30am - Student Poster Session.  Over 100 UBRP students will present their research on a wide variety of topics in the biological sciences, including protein interactions related to Alzheimer’s disease, aerodynamics of flying insects, working memory in children, novel treatments for chronic pain, ecosystem of fungal symbionts and native grasses, a cancer-on-a-chip model, improving delivery systems for vaccines, how bats sense the environment, interventions for jet lag, and much more!
  • 11:35am - 12:00pm - Recognition, Awards, and Closing Remarks.

This event is free and open to all interested. Visitors, please RSVP if you plan to attend.  Student presenters and event volunteers do not need to RSVP.
