Headshot photo of Sergio SalgueroUA Honors College student Sergio Salguero is a junior majoring in neuroscience with a minor in Spanish. He has many interests in the arts including painting, playing the piano and taking pictures. His goal is to pursue a PhD in neuroscience and to study the mechanisms of learning to improve upon them. As an EHS-TRUE scholar, Sergio works with Dr. Helena Morrison, an assistant professor of nursing, who is advancing pre-clinical stroke research. Support for this research comes from the College of Nursing, the Undergraduate Biology Research Program, and the EHS-TRUE program (funded by the National Institutes of Health).
