Eligibility
Eligible students are:
- Undergraduate students (from other institutions as well as from The University of Arizona)
- Majoring in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, management information systems, statistics, plant sciences
- US citizens or permanent residents of the US
- Able to work full time for 12 weeks during the summer beginning in mid-May
- Willing and able to attend a two-day orientation in the middle of May
- Interested in applying their skills and education to research problems related to the grand challenge questions in plant biology
