"I am now working at Global Solar Energy, Inc., a producer of flexible thin film solar cells," writes Jennifer Baker Given '07. As a UBRPer, Jenny worked in Dr. Goggy Davidowitz's  lab, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.  Global Solar's portable solar panels are ideal for field research projects. Gregory R. Snead '93, who received his MD from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2003, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was previously an attending physician and emergency medicine ultrasound fellow at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Brian Thiesse '96 is a "general manager of an electronics gas facility in Phoenix. Our business is supplying ultra high purity gases to the semiconductor and related industries." He was a UBRPer in Dr. Bruce Patterson's laboratory, Molecular & Cellular Biology. E-mail: bthiesse@cox.net
