"I'm living in Hawaii now and working as a contract employee for CDC as a consultant for the US Associated Pacific Islands on Immunizations. I used to be the Immunization Program Manager on Guam for 10 years, now I have been in this consultant position for 4 years now," writes Ronald Balajadia '90. Kathryn Plicta '08, finished her student teaching at Sahuaro High School in a general biology class for sophomores and graduated in December.  "It was so much fun and I learned so much.  Now I am in Colorado working on jumping through all the hoops with the state so I can get teaching license here.  I don't have a position yet but there are a few on the horizon and I can always do substitute teaching for the spring semester.  By next fall I hope to have my own classroom!
