Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Dr Maas's research
focuses on how people generate and produce speech sounds
and speech movements, on how speech production can be disrupted
as a result of neurological conditions such as stroke or
developmental disorders, and on the clinical implications
of current theories of speech production in terms of diagnosis
and treatment.
