Opportunities and Choices

The National Science Foundation has awarded more NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates sites (administered through the University of Florida). Some of these are domestic experiences and some are international. The deadlines are between March 15 and 21. If you, or friends of yours, are looking for a research experience, you might suggest they take a look at this site: http://reu.chem.ufl.edu/

General Biology Teaching Position: Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming beginning in fall, 2008. Qualifications: Master's degree in biology or closely related field and prior teaching experience required. Community college-level teaching experience in biology, microbiology or human anatomy and competency in Internet instruction, preferred. Closing Date: Screening will begin February 25, 2008; position will remain open until filled. Starting Date: August 20, 2008.
