We Will Miss Dr. Brower

We are saddened to share the news that Dr. Danny Brower, Professor of Molecular & Cellular Biology, died suddenly of an aortic aneurysm on October 5, 2007. Dr. Brower's involvement in UBRP dates to the program's inception in 1988. Over the years he mentored a great many students, including 17 UBRP students. Trained as a molecular biologist, Dr. Brower loved hiking and was an avid observer of nature. Those of us who were privileged to know Dr. Brower are richer for it. We will miss him greatly and our hearts go out to his family.
