Ada is an MPH student with a focus in maternal and child health at the UA College of Public Health. While in UBRP, Ada worked in Dr. Elena Plante's lab, Speech, Language and Hearing. "I got it," reports Herson Quinones '00, my PhD, that is!" He received his PhD in biomedical sciences from UT Southwestern, and is working as a Regional Scientific Manager with AstraZeneca and relocating to Michigan. He will be part of the Medical and Scientific Affairs Department providng support for external researchers in the respiratory team. As a UBRPer, Herson worked in Dr. Eugene Gerner's lab, Cell Biology & Anatomy. E-mail: herson.quinones@sbcglobal.net

Luisa Ikner '01 is back at the UA working towards a PhD in Soil, Water & Environmental Science. She received her BS and MS from the UA and worked as Recycling Education Coordinator for Tucson Clean & Beautiful for a while. While in UBRP, Luisa worked with Dr. Chuck Gerba, Microbiology & Immunology.
