Ryan Harper '03 received an MS in Economics from Duke University. He has returned to Arizona and works for the Governor of Arizona, Janet Napolitano, doing fiscal analysis of health policy. While in UBRP, Ryan worked in Dr. Christopher Appleton's Cardiovascular lab. Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale; Dr. Paul McDonagh's lab, Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery and Dr. Ronald Heimark's lab, Surgery. Jessica Yingling '98 "recently graduated with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Diego." Jessica is now "an account executive at Porter Novelli Life Sciences in San Diego. She does "corporate communications (public and investor relations) for biotech companies." When not doing that she is "taking advantage of all the activities related to living near the ocean like surfing, sailing and scuba diving."
