Opportunities and Choices

Dr. Jude McNally, Director of the Arizona Poison Control Center, has agreed to allow UBRP students to eavesdrop on Poison Control Center calls. If you are interested, here is what you need to do.

1. Call Dr, McNally at 626-6230 in advance to set up a time. Identify yourself as a UBRP student.

2. Show up at the arranged time at the Poison Control Center, which is now in the Drachman Building on the AHSC campus, room B308.

Don't bring your friends. Like the surgery observations and trauma call opportunities, this is something that you do on your own, not as a group.

Pharmacists staff the Poison Control Center and as the only poison control center in the state, it is open 24 hours a day every day of the year. They field all kinds of calls!
