Shameema Sikder '02 will be "heading to Johns Hopkins University for a residency in Ophthalmology!" Shameema is "excited to be training at one of the top programs in the country." She "will be in Tucson next year for her internship" and will be glad to "answer any questions about medicine or ophthalmology." " I am currently living in Portland, Oregon and working in an ophthalmology research lab at Oregon Health Science University and doing molecular work," writes Amanda Casale '05. "I will be leaving soon to move to Connecticut since I have been accepted to the neuroscience track of the BBS PhD program at Yale! I attribute my success with graduate school hunting to UBRP, BRAVO!, Carol Bender, my research mentors and the UA." Amanda worked in Dr. Bruce McNaughton's and Carol Barnes' lab, Neural Systems, Memory and Aging, UA and Dr. Cyriel Pennartz, The Netherlands Institute for Brain Research, The Netherlands.
