Changes

At this time of the year, UBRP starts to hear from alumni, recent graduates and those about the graduate about the changes in their lives and careers. Please let us hear from you!

Congratulations to:

John Biebelhausen, who was awarded a Microscopy Society of America Undergraduate Research Scholarship. Along with the award he will be submit an abstract for publication in "Microscopy and Microanalysis" at the end of the project. E-mail: biebs@email.arizona.edu. John works with Dr. Lynn Oland in the Tolbert lab in Neurobiology.

Kelly Brink '05, who received and NSF Predoctoral fellowship. Kelly is a doctoral student in biomedical engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. As a UBRPer Kelly worked with Dr. Walter Klimecki, Arizona Respiratory Center.

David Denuyl, who accepted a summer internship with Proctor & Gamble in Phoenix working on the manufacture of an OTC drug. David worked in Dr. John Szivek's lab, Orthopedic Surgery. E-mail: david56@email.arizona.edu

Heidi Hofer, who accepted a summer internship with a small biomedical engineering company. Heidi worked in Dr. Stuart Williams's lab, Biomedical Engineering. E-mail: htwo@email.arizona.edu

Eric Bultman, UBRPer in Dr. John Enemark's lab, Chemistry and Shawn Jackson, UBRPer in Dr. Ramin Yadegari's lab, Plant Sciences, have been accepted into the MD/PhD program at the University of Wisconsin Madison. E-mail: ebultman@email.arizona.edu and shawnj@email.arizona.edu

Kvar Black '05, UBRPer in Dr. John Gillies' lab, Radiology will head to Northwestern's Biomedical Engineering's program in the fall. E-mail: kvar@email.arizona.edu.
