Elizabeth Takacs ‘01 has “started a graduate program in the field of plant biology at Cornell University. I spent the time between graduating from UA and this past fall working as a research assistant for Dr. David Stern at the Boyce Thompson Institute in Ithaca, NY. I decided to go back to school to pursue a future in plant molecular and cellular biology academia.” While in UBRP, Elizabeth worked in Dr. John Guzowski’s lab, Neural Systems, Memory & Aging and with Ms. Valerie Bontrager, Arizona Science Center, Phoenix.
