Introducing
faculty sponsor, Dr. Anna Dornhaus, Associate Professor Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. Social insects (bees and ants), how they communicate, coordinate, make collective decisions or allocate tasks and achieve a division of labor, are the focus of Dr. Dornhaus’s research. This involves both lab and field experiments, behavior observation and filming, and computational modeling.
