"I am writing to tell you how pleased I am at what I found last night," says Chris Carello, UBRP alum '00, Dr. Bever's lab, Linguistics. "There was a party for the biology department's recruitment week, (not mine, I am neuroscience), but I was invited. I immediately noticed someone who was extremely familiar -- he was an UA/UBRP alum '00, Steve Miller, (Dr. Brower's lab, Molecular & Cellular Biology). I think this is a nice testament to the opportunities that arise from the UBRP program and other such research involvement at the UA -- even beyond graduation. It really is a great way to make connections with other future scientists even before trekking out into the post-graduate scientific world." Chris attends University of California, San Diego.
