Introducing...
...a new faculty sponsor, Dr. Donata Vercelli, Associate Professor of Cell
Biology & Anatomy, Associate Research Scientist, Respiratory Sciences Center.
She studies gene regulation in the human immune system; more specifically dealing
with genes that have a role in the pathogenesis of allergy and asthma.
Dr. Vercelli received her MD and Specialist Diplomas from the University of
Florence, Italy, where she took Pharmacology from BRAVO! foreign faculty sponsor,
Dr. Giancarlo Pepeu.
