Research Experiences in Industry. If you are an experienced UBRP student, and; you are interested in working in industry this summer--Rohm and Haas, Novartis--please let Carol Bender know right away. She would like your resume before March 27. Repre-sentatives from some of these companies will be at Biology Career Day, and we would like to arrange informal interviews between interested students and representatives. If you are curious about what it is like and would like some insight, talk with UBRPer Amanda Ross. Amanda spent last summer at Rohm and Haas in Pennsylvania.

University Van Drivers Needed. The UA has implemented a new policy requiring anyone who drives a university vehicle that holds 9 or more people to take a 2.5-hour workshop. After April 30, 1999, only those persons with this training will be allowed to drive university carry-alls and vans. Carol is looking for a few mature UBRPers with good driving records to take the workshop thereby ensuring that we have drivers for our summer field trips. Please contact Carol if interested (621-9348). .
